Installation is very easy.just two screws. I have noticed a reduction of electrical interference since it was installed. I agree that trying to screw in the coaxial cables is a real pain, but that is the only issue I see. I bought this for my TV and entertainment center. I will be buying a couple more for my computer and desk. The best part might actually be the separate mounting bracket.
Overall, you can't get a better product at a better price than this. This is a great product at a great price. It is very easy to use and the color coding helps organize your cables. The device then just snaps onto the bracket and you are good to go.
It was what I expected and works the way I thought it would. I ordered it, it came intact in a timely manner. It cost what it said it would. What else can I say.
I feel much better having my brand new expensive stuff hooked up through this now. All are nicely color coded and labeled. Easy set up, comes with stickers for wires making hook much easier, and provides good clean power to yourexpensive HD TV, Blu ray, and other items. Has many nicely spaced out plugs for all your equipment. Nicest one I have ever seen and looks like good quality.
I don't have the buzzing problem others have mention, and I have a number of items plugged into the unit, 52" TV, Receiver, DVD Player, playstation, and sub. SO you factor in the cable and the fact that it might deliver 10% of what it promise, it's not a bad unit. Oh, and the blue light is a bit annoying, I have the surger mounted to the back wall of my bult in, and had to arrnage my items to cover the light to the serge protector, its blinding. My existing surge protector had a very weak HD single for some reason, but it was 10 years old, and it's possible that this TV was on the last and longest cable run in the house. Purchased this unit over a $25 unit, and it works fine, weak single problem resolved, One item to note it did come with a high end RGB6 Coaxial cable, 3 feet, which runs around $8-10 if purchased, It may have come with a phone line too, but I can't remember. I have a UPS pluged into another outlet on the same circuit, powering my Gigabyte switch, Homer server, wireless access point, and media player, all items are located in a built in.
Sales guys say it does make a difference--real world answer for me at least is that I could not differentiate between my cheapie $15 surge protector and this Monster Cable PowerCenter. Probably go with a cheaper version next time. I bought this becuase of the hype.Clean power equals better picture and sound. I dont think I would buy this again.
